"Technology can help older people stay at home longer"
Today, domotics is a possible social response to the challenge of keeping seniors at home, thanks to its functionalities for comfort, prevention of risks in the home, and also in the near future, remote medical observation. Pascal Brosset is Director of Innovation at Schneider Electric. He explains why declining prices for domotics hardware, combined with future regulatory evolution in favour of keeping the elderly at home, could contribute to making new technology accessible to greater numbers of people.
